Complete your Registration 

We need to know your name, the name of your business, and you can set your password.

IMPORTANT: This step is where you’ll setup your DuoGrow “URL”

Where the form asks for ‘Subdomain Name’, you’ll enter your choice for how your DuoGrow URL will look. For example if your business was an ice cream shop named “Jack the Dipper”, you might enter ‘jackthedipper’ in this field, and that would mean that your DuoGrow URL would be https://jackthedipper.duogrow.com

Step #1 :: Set your Social Profiles

In order for your customers to be able to leave you reviews, you will need to link your various online profiles to your DuoGrow account. This includes your Google, Facebook, Yelp, and TripAdvisor business listings. To begin connecting your business pages to your DuoGrow account, just navigate to the “Review Profiles” tab in your Admin Area.

From here, you will have the option to connect and enable a few different online profiles:

Google

To connect your Google online profile, you can search for your business name in the first box. Once located, you can simply click to select it. 

Facebook

To connect your Facebook online profile, simply enter the main URL of your Facebook business page in the first box. This URL is usually formatted as https://www.facebook.com/yourbusinessname/

Yelp

To connect your Yelp online profile, simply enter the main URL of your Yelp business page in the first box. This URL is usually formatted as https://www.yelp.com/biz/yourbusinessname/

TripAdvisor

To connect your TripAdvisor online profile, simply enter the main URL of your TripAdvisor business page in the first box. This URL is usually formatted as https://www.tripadvisor.com/yourbusinessname/

Once your various URLs are entered and saved, you can choose which you want to make active and visible to customers and other users who view your Public Profile, by checking the “Enable” box under the corresponding profiles. It should be noted that in order to send review requests to your customers via email, at least one Review Profile will need to be setup and enabled.

Step #2 :: Fill out your Business Info

The first step would be to complete your business profile, which will be the information that will display on your Public Profile at https://yourbusiness.duogrow.com/, with the “yourbusiness” portion of the URL being the Subdomain Name you set during initial registration of your account.

Along with your basic contact info (business name, ZIP, website, etc), you can also upload images for your Business Logo and Cover Image.

The Business Logo will be your main “profile picture” on your Public Profile, and for best results we recommend using a logo with square dimensions.

The Cover Image will be the background image that appears in the header area of your Public Profile, above your Business info and logo. For best results, we recommend using a Cover Image that is 1110px wide and 340px tall.

Step #3 :: Customize your Email Templates

When you request a review from a customer, or an endorsement from a customer or fellow business, they will be sent a series of emails from your DuoGrow environment. You can control the content of these emails from the “Email Templates” tab in your Admin Area.

From here, you can adjust the sending info and body content of various email notifications:

Review Request

This email will be sent to your customers immediately after you request a review from them, via the “Request Customer/Client Review via Email” option in your Admin Area.

Review Reminder

This email sends to your customers after a set period time, if you have requested a review from them and they have not yet submitted one. You can control when this reminder email is sent via the “Notification Settings” tab in your Admin Area.

Review Thanks

This email sends to your customers after they successfully leave you a review via your profile.

Endorse Request

This email sends to a business owner or customer after you request an endorsement from them, via the “Request Endorsements via Email” option in your Admin Area.

Endorse Reminder

This email sends to a business owner after you request an endorsement from them, and they have not yet submitted one. You can control when this reminder email is sent via the “Notification Settings” tab in your Admin Area.

Endorse Thanks – Fellow Business

This email sends to a fellow business owner after they have successfully given you an endorsement via your profile.

Step #4 :: Adjust Follow-up Settings

By default, the various reminder and “thank you” emails that send to your customers and fellow business owners already have timeframes for when they send. If you would like to adjust when these send, you can do so from the “Follow-up Settings” in your Admin Area.

From here you will have a few settings that can be adjusted:

Send Endorse Reminder email this many days after the original request email

This setting will control when the customer or business owner is sent a reminder to endorse you, if they have not yet submitted one.

Send Endorse Thanks email this many minutes after the endorsement is submitted

This setting will control when the customer or business owner is sent a “thank you” for their endorsement, after they submit one.

Send Review Reminder email this many days after the original request email

This setting will control when the customer is sent a reminder to leave you a review, if they have not yet submitted one.

Send Review Thanks email this many minutes after the review is submitted

This setting will control when the customer is sent a “thank you” for their review, after they submit one.

Step #5 :: Start using DuoGrow

Now that your various branding and email notifications are set as you like, you can start sending out requests for reviews and endorsements. All of this can be done from the “Quick Action” tab in your Admin Area.

From there you will have a few different options:

Request Customer/Client Review via Email

To request reviews from your customers, simply put your customers’ email addresses into the text box here (one address per line), or optionally bulk import emails via CSV, and click the “Submit & Send Email(s)” button. Your customers will receive a request to visit your DuoGrow Public Profile page, where they can easily leave you reviews via the avenues you setup/enabled in the “Review Profiles” settings.

Request Endorsements via Email

Know other business owners that will endorse your business? Simply enter their email address(es) here (or optionally bulk import emails via CSV), and they’ll be sent a request to visit your DuoGrow Public Profile page and give you an official endorsement.  For every endorsement you receive, your EndorseScore will increase, and thus increase your public standing for any potential customers who view your Public Profile, making them more likely to give you their business!

EZ-Add Dashboard

For situations where you have employees or other staff who need to be able to send review and/or endorsement requests on your behalf, you can use the links provided in the EZ-Add Dashboard.

These URLs will let users submit email addresses through your DuoGrow account, without needing to provide them access or login to your admin area. Simply click the “Copy URL to Clipboard” button for the desired link, and paste the link into any web browser. Then, bookmark the URL so your employees or other agents can easily enter email addresses.
